(pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd) is the debut album of Classic/Southern Rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was produced by Al Kooper and its total album sales reached 2 million. [1] It also peaked #27 on the charts. It included the songs I Ain't The One, Gimmie Three Steps, Simple Man, Tuesday's Gone and Free Bird.
The album was later re-released in 2001 and included demo versions of the songs.
[edit] In the Guitar Hero Series
Free Bird was Lynyrd Skynyrd's debut song in the series, appearing as the final song for Guitar Hero II. It later appeared in Guitar Hero: Smash Hits and as downloadable content for Guitar Hero 5.
Tuesday's Gone only appears in Guitar Hero: Metallica.
Simple Man and Gimme Three Steps appear as downloadable content for both the rivalling Rock Band series and Guitar Hero 5.
